9 months agoWhen you’re a teenager and there is no where to go, Target is cool. If you’re looking for fun little gifts they always have a few dollars section up front when you walk in. They have seasonal changes in the back right corner. The parking lot is safe here. It’s a nice distance to walk to Koals. The cafe is a great stop for American junk food. The electronics section is full of goodies. Pay attention to sales because they have good quality clothes and a store brand for almost everything.2 weeks agoThey’ve recently put soaps of all sort behind glass cases. You can press a button to summon an employee to make sure you’re not there to steal a shelf full of laundry detergent, but the employee won’t come. You can’t buy any soap. The problems aren’t new. Checkout never has enough open lanes and self-checkout never has an employee watching it. The store is chronically understaffed in all areas. Shopping here is a nightmare. This is why no one shops brick-and-mortar anymore.a week agoThis is by far the most chaotic and disorganized Target location in the Eastside (its filthy and dirty). The shelves were empty and seems unrealistic to find stuff what you need to buy. Do not come here especially on a weekend because you will find yourself standing in a long line waiting to pay for your items. This location needs a complete makeover or shut it down completely!a month agoI usually order pickup or drive up here. IMO it has a much larger collection of items compared to Factoria. Drive up is really convenient and fast. There are long lines occasionally for pick up and returns. Target optical has a decent variety of glasses to choose from.3 weeks agoThis is a lovely target location. It has lots of stock and their customer service and staff are very friendly apart from being quick in their duties. Is also easy to find a customer associate the shop floor if you need assistance.

3 months ago04/23/23: Haha 😂 I spent a wonderful time wandering around here. I felt like this Target is bigger than the ones in Seattle. It was stocked well with diversified products. The store was not crowded during my visit and it was located all the way to the 7th floor of the Northgate complex. The staff was fine and good. Target is doing well with their products and customer service. I have no complainsin the last weekAlways love shopping at my local target but my 5 star rating today is because of your staff at the northgate location. Big thanks to Scott(in the returns counter) for taking the time to help me out today, he was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. If i could give more than 10 Stars I would.in the last weekI found parking to be easy to find, and I was also happy to see that there was a self check out because there were a lot of human cashiers that had open lanes. The option to have self check out really expedited my experience I was able to find what I was looking for in the staff was friendly..a week agoI used to look forward to going to Target but those days are long gone at the Northgate location. Expect to stand in line for at least 20 minutes of you want to return something or want to checkout with a person. There was one checker working on Saturday afternoon and one person doing returnsThe store is also hard to navigate since staff seem to leave their restocking carts in the aisles in such a way as to block everyone else.
The store is also dirty. I might as well have been at a Walmart.
2 months agoTypical not my job attitude from employees and no care for the part that is their job. Came from capital hill for 2 white button ups for work. Selected a backup item that also worked that was also in stock. Got to the counter to pick up and the shirts were white with brown stripes. Not right for what I needed so I said they are the wrong color they are supposed to be white. Guy behind the counter said order fills are not my job. Then told me they were ringing up as white. I said clearly they are not white. Anyway went to menswear found the same shirt marked as white striped. Then in the same area found the backup item I picked in the right size. So with minimal effort they could have got the right order. They just chose not to. Waste of time ordering online from here.

We spent the day in the city before leaving on a cruise. We happened upon this Target as we were walking around. It had everything we needed and didn’t know we needed😉. The employees were kind and helpful. It was a great experience. We had no problem paying .08 for a high quality bag. It held up well through our whole day.
While I am a frequent user of self checkout stations I am not a fan of being forced to use one as was the case during the only two visits I have ever made to this Target. I am also not a fan of having to wait for an employee to unlock so many things I want to purchase. To be fair to the employees they have been fairly quick to respond, courteous and helpful. I can only imagine the shrinkage this Target has experienced but these loss prevention measures are going to cost them the loss of some of my business.
The majority of the items in the store are behind glass and you have to get an employee to open, which they are all friendly and quick. There are armed guards on every level too.
With all of this extra security, they then want to check yourself out while armed security is watching you to make sure to ring up everything. Feels like they can hire a cashier or two to make sure everything is rung up correctly as well.
The self check out operator was the only one in the store that was unfriendly and grumpy. She was not very helpful and just responded to me “it’s Seattle”.
I’ve been a frequent shopper at Target for quite some time now, and overall, my experiences have been positive. This store offers a wide range of products and services, making it a convenient one-stop destination for all my shopping needs.
I like this target its got a good verity of stuff though out the store , yah some things could be more of but overall i like it here . Some sections of stuff is behind plastic glass you have to ask staff to get itam out . No washrooms whatsoever . Lots of floors here . a food market . They got cool t-shirts . They got a electronic section . Its a very interesting target ive never seen a store so beefed up with armed security guards in my life lol yah its interesting alright . Its got self served check out mostly like 95 % .
