2 weeks agoWent in to buy a birthday present for my son. When i got to the register and told them about the sign the lady who was called to the register refuse to honor the sign that was on two tables. The lady who worked at the checkout was very kind (Janet) & called another lady to the register (Angel) who honored the price. The first lady wasnt willing to budge and wasnt a friendly person to a customer who frequents Kohls.a month agoI love this store because it’s always clean and the associates are always helpful and kind. They have a large variety in things and though the Woodhaven store is closer to me I prefer to visit the Taylor store as it’s even bigger and has even MORE items to shop through. Can’t beat their cash back rewards system either.a week agoThis place use to have a much better selection and prices…not so much anymore. We found enough school clothes for my daughter, but everything was pretty picked over in her size.a month agoCustomer service associate Siretia was sooooo helpful. She helped me pick out school pants for my son because I had no idea of what to get. She was like a mom. Excellent customer service. 7 months agoThe parking on the left side of the building is almost useless since the doors are always locked with a sign saying to go to the opposite doors. This was extremely frustrating since I used the handicapped parking space. I went this particular time to return something from Amazon. There are typically quite a few people waiting to get in when they open. A lady cut in front of me to get to the return first. Luckily there was an extremely nice lady working the Amazon return and saw what happened and helped me first. When my wife and I shopped here in the past, it was well kept, and stocked, with a lot of good deals. Prices have risen in the world and unfortunately the quality deals Kohl’s once had are diminishing. The staff wasn’t very pleasant so my family stopped shopping at this location. The parking lot is pot hole hell and it feels as though this location has just been ignored for any upgrades other stores have gone through. I have 2 stars because of the courteous lady at the Amazon return. I would stay away from this location and go to another Kohl’s for returns and shopping. But if you do go here, park on the Lennon Road side as those are the doors that are open.4 months agoI ❤️ shopping here. Great value with quality items. Also a Sephora 💚💯💯2 weeks agoIf I could give 0 stars I would! Yesterday I bought a “lowest price of the season” hoodie at the Oakland Mall store for 14.99. I decided on my way home to pick up a couple more colors at the Flint store. There was no sale sign but I checked the website and the sale was there so I grabbed 2 and headed towards the checkout. I was charged 19.99 a piece. When I showed the girl the sale price online I was told this is what they cost here. That is a 25% markup!!! In the poorest city in the State!! Purposeful, I believe so because this is not the first time it’s happened to me. I will be calling Kohl’s headquarters today. Also, I love being able to stay and see if there’s anything I need. It’s nice to go to a brick and mortar location and touch/see/feel a product vs. buy online and HOPE the description is correct.

This is my new favorite location! I have been to the two locations in Troy, but this one is far better. The people are extremely kind. The place is very clean and organized. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowded. We had an Amazon return and made purchases and never waited in a line.
I went there because I had an Amazon return and I received a 15% off coupon. I bought a few things and had a good experience. I went back a second time a couple days later and was reminded of why I don’t don’t shop there. I tried on a bunch of dresses because of the sales prices. The sale sign above the dresses said $40 item on sale for $20. The sign was deceiving and one of the ladies that worked there said they get a lot of complaints because of the way the signs are displayed and she recommended we see the manager, because the price checker said it was $35 not $20. So, we asked to see the manager. The manager said for the clerk to do whatever she wanted. And because I was buying a second dress from another rack that was on sale, they said that I can pay full price for that one and get half off the other dress. Instead of paying what I originally thought was going to be $50, they said I’d be paying $65. I told them they can keep both dresses. I won’t be shopping there again!
So clean and the atmosphere is nice. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A whole shelf of shoes fell as soon as my daughter picked up a box and the sales lady came right over and caught the shelf before it hit the floor. Amazing customer service! She apologized and still helped my daughter find what she needed in the midst of fixing the shelf. I love this Kohl’s.
What is with this store? I went in to look for a bathing suit for an upcoming vacation and all they had was one tiny rack of mismatched suits and granny bathing suits. This is 2022; not 1949. They’re too quick to bring in fall clothes and don’t have anything for summer. Summer is here for another month.
Used to love shopping here but I will probably just stick to online shopping now! Very rude associates here now. Except the cashier’s, they are professional and friendly. But the employees that just walk around doing nothing need customer service training.
