  1. Great store ,very clean, friendly staff.
    I bought a wallet recently,good quality,price was good.

I’m going to go back and buy more things .

  2. Most of the dressing rooms were closed. Each closed one had a sign directing you to another one, which was also closed. After wandering around both levels of the store in this not so fun scavenger hunt, I gave up. My friend spoke to an associate and kindness was not one of her strengths. She technically did help by pointing in the direction of, what I’m assuming, was the only open dressing room, but acted very annoyed that we bothered her. I left without buying anything.

  3. Got my mother’s day shopping out of the way already! Found some good deals. Store is clean, staff was helpful. Will go back!

  4. My dad comes here often for clothes and I shop for jewelry here and I don’t know what happened but this last trip was a hot mess.

My dad went to check out a pair of pants and was trying to scan for rewards and the employee totally lost it on him. He was yelling at my dad demanding to have my dad say his phone number out loud for “security reasons”. This is not only a really unprofessional response, but also to say a phone number out loud is unsafe and not secure. It’s also totally unnecessary since his rewards displays his phone number when it is scanned anyways.

I don’t feel comfortable shopping here if this is how an employee reacts when a customer is just trying to use rewards to shop. I don’t feel comfortable continuing to shop here.

  5. I love Penny’s, but the store should really do a little make over in certain areas. Not very appealing when wall paper is torn on walls & doors coming off hinges in dressing rooms. The sales people nice & helpful.

I want to start off this review by saying the store was pretty vacant and now I know why. The reason for stopping by was for a new bra for me as well as the Labor Day sale so when we finally found the bras nothing was in my size (I’m a 38 DD) they were poorly made, (you can find the same ones at Walmart for cheaper) so we decide to look for pants for my brother we stop by this rack and it’s a big sign that says 6.99$ so I was thinking it’s a good deal and picked it up we walk all the way to check out and we get checked out by an employee named Brandon and he says the pants are 20$ and we’re like no the sign clearly states 6.99$ so he calls over this frail woman my guess is the manager named Betty we explain the situation to her and she demands that we go show the employee Brandon the rack in which we were talking about this was our first time going to the store in a while so we didn’t really know where to go and the incompetent employee Brandon said wElL i DoNt wOrK iN bOys being very rude and didn’t know his way around the store so we walk around the store like idiots for literally FIFTEEN MINUTES finally find the rack and the employee Brandon was like oH i dOnT kNoW wHy tHeSe aRe hErE bUt tHeY sHoUlDn’T bE and agreed with us however left the pants on the shelf to confuse future customers so we walk back to the front of the store and we go to check out again and Brandon again says there 20$ and we ask well, you’re not gonna honor the price? Since it’s JCPennys fault for confusing customers and he reply’s to us in a nasty tone NO, Not even a sorry. Wasted our TIME, GAS and MONEY Nothing I hope JCPenny does something about their rude and condescending staff. And We will NEVER be back

Not one pair of plus size stretch shorts and it’s 90° outside today !!! Air conditioning barely on…had to leave before fully shopping. The ladies bathroom is starting to look worn. Bare shelves, piles of clothes willy-nilly, just bad. Never returning, you lost me.

There customer service sucks. Wanted to look at jewelry. They had one poor lady too six customer. I went asked the greeter if they could get her some help. The lady said no you just have to wait. Laughed!!! I have to wait to give you my money. Never have, never will. Several of us left. I see why the stores are going out of business.

I had a wonderful experience at Sephora, it’s not a place that I normally shop at but I was there on a mission to get olaplex shampoo and conditioner treatment. The girl working behind the counter was extremely helpful in giving me the details about this product since I didn’t know much about it. Sephora is conveniently located right in the front of the store once you walk into JCPenney. It’s definitely nice to have employees that actually know about the products and can give information if questions are asked. Would definitely return here again for future purchases!

Ana in the beauty area was amazing, she was so polite and professional. Just can’t say enough, went in to get something for my wife. She did not judge, just helped me like I was any other customer. Very informative and patient. Kudos to her, wish stores would hire more employees like her. Wish my company had managers that took some pages out of her playbook. She would definitely make a great team leader.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. The person on the phone hung up on me because I wanted to cancel a same day pick up order when I was told I couldn’t get it until the next day. Called again and she gave me a different number to call and hung up immediately before I could even write the number down. Once I got all the way back home the order I wanted was ready so she really had no idea what she was talking about. Not to mention i was placed on hold for 10 mins each time and she wouldn’t even give me 2 minutes to talk.

It’s sad to see the giant coming to this. The staff aren’t helpful. It’s always empty giving you a deserted feel. Would recommend training the staff to be nice to people coming in to spend their hard earned money!
