5 years agoSome pretty good deals here. Friendly staff and fast check-out.11 months agoLakeeshia the store manager is Awesome. She is always so friendly, welcoming with a smile on her face 😊 always working hard to make everyone happy! She is one great lady to have on your team!! Thank you Lakeeshia!!a year agoAbsolutely love this family dollar for everything the stockers do for me because THE SHELVES ARE FULLY STOCKED AND ALWAYS IS A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE THAT I AM ALL ABOUT!! ALSO THE CASHIER LADYS ARE HUMOROUS AND ALWAYS A BLAST TALKING TO, THANK Y’ALL FOR ALWAYS HAVING EVERYTHING I NEED AND WANT!!👍👏✌💞💯‼️a year agoGreat little store only downside would be that some of the times there is stock left on the floor that needs to be put up. Overall a good place for quick shopping!!!! Update : 5/28/2022 the store seems to have a lot of sketchy people standing outside 😳 and it smells inside bad 👎6 years agoTerrible place to shop . Their is only one cashier who is having to ring-up a long lines of customers . The Manager is never around to help out as the line gets longer . Ive witness on many occasions The Cashier using the intercom and also customers both calling out for someone to come to the front to help out . I am not sure how the manger is still employed after this happening on so many occasions. Also if you buy something and you need to return it you better have your receipt still or they will not give you or exchanges it out . They Also keep your receipt if you are lucky enough to have one.

2 weeks agoToday is Thursday, August 24, 2023 8:30am and the location is still closed! Google maps states location should open up at 8am! Only in the hood, location open after hours posted on doors and Google! Buckhead don’t play, they open when they should! This is ridiculous, I have somewhere to be and will be late due to family dollar being over 30 minutes late opening the doors for business! That’s why homeless people always sleep in the front because they know the store and management is a joke too! The female manager in the small burgundy car pulled up super late, gave the guy employee the key to open the door, and she pulled back off and didn’t even go in the building! Guess she’s off today and no manager week be in the store! Smmfh real real hard!7 months agoOk. I don’t usually like to say the “typical “ghetto” neighborhood store” BUT… First of all, PEOPLE STOP TALKING ON YOUR PHONE WHILE DOING TRANSACTIONS!!! YOU ARE HOLDING THE LINE!!!!2. People just walk in, cut the line and ask the cashier questions about what’sbehind the counter…WHAT THE EARTHLY F#@$!!! Wait your turn like everyone else! Aside from that, the cashier was nice and friendly. I didn’t get a chance to walk the store because what I was looking for was behind the counter- phone charger. For the most part, what I did see was a clean store and parking lot.
2 months agoVisited this store today with a long wait line for checkout with only 1 cashier. Someone behind me asked about another cashier and once that cashier opened up, he helped the person behind me. Totally unacceptable. Not good customer service!7 months agoIt is like any other Family Dollar, except there are no windows except the front door entrance, and there is a metal roll down door used when they close. Their prices are a little higher than other Family Dollar but it may be die yo location. Still, it is a necessary affordable establishment in the community in walking distance for many. Since Walmart is temporarily closed on MLK, this is an option, although not an extensive offering in comparison. I would return.5 months agoI was astonished to see that the shelves were actually stocked the place was clean fast service and easy access to

This team was great. I pulled up with 200+ items to donate to the local homeless population nearby, all of which had at least one security tag attached. The gentleman was fast and efficient but a line formed. Finally all the employees came out and made team work work. They were not in a bad mood to help and they all worked together to get it done. One of them even stayed after it was his time to leave as to make sure he didn’t leave the others hanging. Great experience overall. Thank you!
1/24/2023 I went to Family Dollar store on North Ave and Boulevard in Atlanta to return a purchase I made the day before 1/23/2023 at the Gresham store location. I gave the cashier at the counter my receipt and she said ” my manager isn’t going to return this because it wasn’t purchased from this store”. I said I purchased it yesterday and Family Dollar return policy is if you have your receipt and it was purchased within 30 days you can return items back at ANY Family Dollar location. The cashier then said “I know, but another lady came in here yesterday with a return and my manger (Tracey) wouldn’t allow her to return it, because it wasn’t purchased at this store…but I’ll see what she says”. The manager was called to the front, her name was Tracey she said “we can only except returns that was purchased at this location (North Ave and Boulevard) I reiterate to Tracey that is not Family Dollar return policy for returns. I asked Tracey to show me Family Dollar return policy, Tracey got visably upset and berated the cashier for telling me ” she was the manager” Tracey then said
“I don’t have the return policy to show you but, you can talk to the district manager…I’m out of it” Tracey told Pamela Johnson who I was told was the district manager the situation. Pamela Johnson then walked over to me, with a scowl on her face, nasty and rude as ever and said ” Im not returning anything that was not purchased at this store sweetie, I don’t care that you have a receipt, I don’t care that you just purchased it yesterday, and I don’t care what the store policy is, if you didn’t purchased it here sweetie…guess what I’m NOT returning it” Pamela rolled her eyes and walked away. I told her I was contacting corporate to file a complaint. Tracey said
“please keep me out of it” Pamela Johnson said “you can call who you want, I’m not returning it” I asked her to show me the store policy where returned items can only be returned to the store where it was purchased from. Pamela said “I don’t have to show you nothing, I make up my own rules…and I’m not returning nothing”
Wow!!! I’m in total shock at this point. All of this because I wanted a refund of two plastic boxes worth $12! that I had my receipt for and was within the 30 day window for returns! I’m enforcing Family Dollar policy on returns, all the while the Tracey and Pamela of the North Ave and Boulevard location seems to ” pick and choose” who they are willing to except returns from! I’m not expecting the red carpet to be rolled out for me at Family Dollar, but I do expect human decency and respect. I should not have been harassed for a return, following the stores policy…all because Tracey and Pamela make up their own return policies! This is unacceptable!
I drove 30 minutes to the Family Dollar where I originally purchased the boxes from with my receipt at the Gresham location. The manager named Miracle returned the boxes with no problem. I told Miracle the horrible experience I had at the North and Boulevard location, she assured me that is NOT Family Dollar policy. Miracle reinforced what I already knew, “as long as you have your receipt and you’re within the 30 days you can make a return at ANY Family Dollar store”.
I work hard for every dollar I earn, if I’m going to be treated this way at Family Dollar I can take my money and business elsewhere. I will be making a formal complaint to corporate about the poor customer service I received from manager Tracey and district manager Pamela Johnson.
When this Family Dollar/Dollar Tree store first opened up, it was so clean and organized. But that didn’t last long. It’s so misorganized now. Stuff all in the asides so you can’t walk down them. That’s an accident waiting to happen!
STOP CLOSING EARLY!!! You already open up late almost every morning. Why are you closing early? Don’t feed me policy because I know ya’ll policy. Which is how I know when customer came to the door and the young lady tonight said ya’ll were closed but it was customers still in the store. Management really need to properly train your staff. All I wanted was some pull-ups
Too many people standing outside of the door and sitting on steps selling drugs.
Inside of store cashiers are friendly store
is stock very well.
