5 Replies to The 5 Biggest Burlington Coat Factory Stores in New York NY, United States

  1. Not worth it unless you’re desperate for a deal. Clothes scattered where they aren’t supposed to be. No sales help to be found and 42 minutes in the check out line because they are to cheap to hire new people. The sales girl didn’t even know how to fold a pair of pants properly. I had to show her. I counted 5 registers not being used 2,3,4,11, and 13. A real waste of time. I learned my lesson, I will only come back when I have nothing to do for 42 minutes and the place is not busy. Then things only got worse when I got home. The size that the pants said was actually 2 inches shorter so they couldn’t fit. So now I have to return it and get a store credit because I paid on my credit card and I don’t think these people are competent enough to refund my credit card. A total waste of my time.

  2. The place is nice if you are looking for bargains but it’s gonna be some effort to find what you need. Things are set up by sizes and the lines are really long with all the hung clothes.

Also the queues at the counter are pretty long and slow.

  3. If the ineptitude, disorganization, and lack of leadership could be materialized into something, it would be this store. A line with 85 customers and only 3 registers at 4 pm on a Friday. If you are visiting the city or looking to buy something quickly, avoid this store because the time you will be in line to pay is 40 minutes or more.

  4. You need to spend quite a few time to find stuff here, but with patience, I assume you will find something great.

The location have three floor . I’m not sure if it’s because is weekday by everything was well organized. Floors cleaned. They even cash register on all floors. I saw clothing of all brands. The automatic stairs were damaged and they were fixing it. They have cloths for all ages. They products. For the kitchen, living room, bathroom, kids cloths, toys, …..if you like saving for decorations then this is the place to come.

Large store with tons and tons of clothing. Each floor is dedicated to different types of apparel and house hold items. The clothing section for women is pretty dense and can be tiring to go through but there are a few gems in there. The floor with the shoe has a nice view of Union Square!

Love it love it love it… love to shop here. You just have to spend a little bit of time searching for that one special thing that you’re looking for, because you’re going to find it. A lot of products, amazing prices… Staff has always a lot to do, they deal with a LOT of people and stressful situations so it’s really amazing how they can keep the store together every single day 💪👏

They have no fitting rooms. If you want to see if something fits, you have to buy it, then return it if it doesn’t fit. I think they’ve forgotten the entire point of shopping in person vs online is that you get to actually try clothes on without the buy/return hassle. Also, they claim to sell petite sizes. Supposedly they’re “mixed in” with the regular sizes. I was there for a while and didn’t see a single petite size anything. The reality is they’ve made it so hard to find petite sizes that you will never, ever find them. So basically, if you’re a non-average size that is hard to fit, go elsewhere! This was my last trip to a Burlington store. I’ll never shop here again.

OMG…a shoppers heaven. Scored big without the big price. Great selection. The staff was professional and courteous.

The only thing is it didn’t offer dressing rooms. Sad, I had to leave behind multiple items 😪

It used to be better in terms of how it looked. It looks like the salvation army where everything is hanging in long racks that are lined one next to another by size. I realize this is as a result of us, the customers, that don’t do right. But I found what I wanted. ALL good.
