a week agoI was just at the Nordstrom Kenwood location, and I was assisted by the Chanel counter manager, Dennise. I had such a pleasant experience with her, she help me find all the products I was looking for and informed me how to use them. Will definitely go back with her to help me with future purchases!in the last weekMy partner and I had the ABSOLUTE joy of working with Aygul in the suit department. Aygul answered all of our questions, provided incredibly helpful suggestions, and made sure we were taken care of for an upcoming wedding. I HIGHLY recommend scheduling an appointment with Aygul. She was amazing and really made our time an enjoyable experience. We were nervous when we first arrived because my partner had never gone through the process of finding a suit and altering to his exact needs. Aygul walked us through the entire experience with kindness, expertise, and consideration. My partner left the experience feeling confident, excited, and valued. Thank you Aygul!!3 months agoNordstrom is a very nice store. I can only speak to the fragrance department as that’s what I shop here for. They have many fine fragrances and the team has always been welcoming and helpful with good recommendations. I feel this particular team really knows what they are talking about and I appreciate it.2 months agoWhat has happened to the famous customer service that you supposedly find at Nordstrom? The only employee I saw was working a cash register, as if it was a Sears or something. Nobody anywhere near the Men’s cologne. Nobody in Men’s area period. Sparse selection. Prices still quite high. But I would prefer J. Crew or Proper Cloth (custom sewn clothing) to paying so much for the bland, pale offerings I saw. Light blue shirts. There’s a fashion trend. Well, anyway, I walked in, walked around, tried three different colognes, looked at all the casual shirts, walked through the suit/sport coat area…. Nobody home.2 months agoThe worst customer service. I was just there. I fell in love with a 14 kt necklace that I really wanted to buy. I travelled a few hours just to come to this location because when I live there is not a Nordstrom. The lady said “I can’t sell it to you”. Reason why? Supposedly because some sort of anniversary dale which I don’t care about. I wanted the necklace at a regular sale price. The lady then proceeded to ask me if I was from another country which that didn’t have anything to do with the purpose of my visit. This was very offensive. I don’t understand why they have things on display that a person can’t even purchase. I will never visit any of the Nordstrom stores again.

2 months agoOver priced items. I don’t see how they are still in business. Mens dress clothing is horrible. Cheap material but with a high price. Hot garage.2 months agoI’ve come here a few times to shop and eat. Very clean on the sales floor, Restaurant, and cafe!My restaurant experience: The two times my husband and I have come to eat at Nordstrom we loved it the very first time we tried it. Food is FRESH, the servers are very nice, and everything is neat and clean. We’ve been served both times by Tammy, she’s AMAZING! She refilled our drinks and she didn’t mind my husband and I’s indecisiveness. She’s very polite and gives great service. Can’t wait to be served by you again!
3 weeks agoToo expensive! My wife purchased a suit for my youngest son. She was told that tailoring the suit was free. Only to find out that was not the case. The tailor tried to change an extra $180! This is after we paid $265 for the suit! Outrageous! I will never shop there again. Had to find another tailor to do the job, and he only changed $60. Wow!2 weeks agoWorse customer service EVER! Just drove over an hour to pick up a pair of shoes that I confirmed with the sales associate (Trevor) that the store had them stock. Trevor had held the 2 sizes for me for confirmation of fitting once arrived. Upon arrival the shoe manager was not in, the “store manager’ came to the department to apologize that we did not have the correct shoe in stock even though the associate (Trevor) confirmed and held them when speaking on the phone to him! The store manager offered to buy me “lunch”. Lunch??? Are you kidding me?. It’s 4:00pm and I didn’t come for lunch. He said he could expedite the shoes for me but was giving any discount whatsoever for the inconvenience of an almost 3 hour round trip! WHAT TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS? This company SUCKS!4 months agoNever had a better experience shopping… Carla was so helpful upstairs, while Suzie and Moussa were BEYOND kind, efficient and amazing on the first floor… I was shopping for a friend going through a very difficult time and I couldn’t have asked for better customer service while my mind was elsewhere. This is my official petition for all of them to receive a raise

Nordstrom in Ohio: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know
When shopping at Nordstrom, there are certain rules and guidelines that should be followed to ensure a positive and enjoyable shopping experience. Understanding these rules can help you make the most of your time at Nordstrom and avoid any issues or misunderstandings. Here are some rules to keep in mind:
Rules to Follow:
- Respect the store’s policies: Familiarize yourself with Nordstrom’s return, exchange, and price matching policies to avoid any surprises or complications.
- Be polite and courteous: Treat the sales associates and other shoppers with respect and kindness. Good manners go a long way in creating a pleasant shopping environment.
- Try on clothes properly: When trying on clothes, make sure to return them to their original condition, including folding them neatly and hanging them back on the hanger.
- Ask for assistance when needed: If you need help finding a specific item or have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask a sales associate. They are there to assist you and provide guidance.
- Be mindful of other customers: Avoid blocking aisles or access to merchandise. Allow others to browse and move freely throughout the store.
Rules to Avoid:
- Don’t take advantage of the return policy: While Nordstrom has a generous return policy, it is important not to abuse it. Avoid returning items excessively or knowingly purchasing items with the intention of returning them.
- Don’t bargain or negotiate prices: Nordstrom generally offers fixed prices, so it is not customary to haggle or negotiate the cost of items. The prices are typically set and fair.
- Avoid damaging merchandise: Be careful when handling and trying on items to avoid damaging them. If something accidentally gets damaged, inform a sales associate and offer to pay for the item.
- Don’t bring in outside food or drinks: Nordstrom typically has cafes or restaurants within their stores, but it is generally not allowed to bring outside food or drinks into the store.
- Avoid disruptive behavior: Keep noise levels to a minimum and refrain from using your phone loudly or having disruptive conversations. Respect the calm shopping atmosphere.

Friendly staff, was greeted with a free sample of delicious marble cake as I walked in. Staff was friendly helping me try on shoes. Had many designer brands for men. More than happy with my purchase and the selection they had.
Stopped in for the Anniversary Sale and was very happy that the GM caused me to cancel my credit card about four years ago. The experience at Nordstrom is nothing near what it was when this store opened in the late 90’s. The inventory was non existent compared to how they used to run this sale. I bought some towels and a Peter Millar shirt and have to say I will probably never visit another Nordstrom in this lifetime. The great employees have retired or are soon retiring. Fran Broda, the old General Manager exhibited what Nordstrom used to be. She walked the floor and talked to customers and was always polite.
It is sad that there are going to be few great retailers left. I guess that we will all be shopping on Amazon!
Making a return from Internet purchase went very simply. The new clerk was unsure but a supervisor showed up immediately and… the problem was solved.
Good job and thanks for coming to work.
I always have a good experience at Beachwood Nordstroms but I just felt I had to let everyone know just how great Cynthia in women shoes was too me! She was so nice over the phone and even sweeter in person so professional and helpful with my Tory Burch sandals…I will be back to see her soon!!
Nice clothes at good prices. But the guy who checked me out today basically just threw my clothes in the bag, I came home and they were completely wrinkled, not ready to wear.
Edit: I just noticed that the jeans still have the security device on them. Great. I also remember that there was a coffee spill on the floor when we got there that never got cleaned up before we left (we let someone know about the spill about halfway through our hour visit).
For the record, I would give 4 or 5 stars if service/checkout had been good.
