One thing I know for sure is there is no need to shop brick and mortar, especially at Macy’s.a month agoMacy’s to me is a wonderful store. Before Covid hit it was just around Christmas time and I was busy shopping at Macy’s and I went up the escalator, and all of a sudden I had no idea where I was apparently, and I was kind of scared. I went to where gift wrapping was with all my parcels and the ladies asked can we help you and they saw what condition I was in and they brought me water they comforted me they contacted my husband they sat with me until a friend of ours came and picked me up and while we were waiting for that person to pick me up, they actually gift wrapped every bag I had full of stuff and did not charge me. they even called the next day to see if I was OK. They are always helpful when I go in and need some thing. They greet you with a smile and politeness. I definitely have no complaints about Macy’s in Southhaven Mississippi.9 months agoI understand people’s shopping habits have hurt in person retail, but I was hoping the Toys r us was going to be better. I was not inspired to do any Christmas shopping for my kids. It was the old area for women. Maybe if they changed the carpet to blue it red and had kid friendly decor it would feel like a toy section. The sales girl was so nice and accommodating!2 years agoIn the center of the city of Memphis, Tn. This is an upscale area of Memphis and is a smaller mall with two anchors. The building sits boldly at the corner of Poplar Avenue and Perkins Road. The location is easy to get to from the 240 loop that surrounds the city. Macy’s is a full service department store and offers in store shopping, ordering online with curbside pick up available as well as ordering & shipping direct to your home. Most shipping is free if your purchase is over fifty dollars. Customers are urged to wear mask when shopping in store but its not required. All Macy’s employees are required to wear a mask. There are dividers at all checkout stations and employees disinfect between transactions. Be prepared to be patient, the store is not staffed to full compacity, due to the pandemic. The store hours are more limited so check before you go. Easy in and out of the store but remember which entrance you used.

3 months agoThe superb selection of work clothes, dresses, and swimwear is worth the trip. Every color top you can imagine is here. Be sure to visit all the departments. A floral print skirt? Check! A vase for your flowers? Crystal or ceramic, they have it. A pretty color is easy to find. A must visit place if you are arounda month agoI went in the Macy’s store in Cool Springs Galleria shopping in Men’s tailored clothing. What a HUGE disappointment. Macy’s used to be a fine department store with knowledgeable help and quality products, well that day has past. I was looking for two things, one hard to find, one easy to find in most quality stores. I walked all over the men’s department looking for someone to help me and it was a ghost town. I went to one of the resisters and asked a lady if someone could help me in in the men’s department. She said they didn’t have anyone per se, but asked the gentelman at the next register if he could answer my questions. I asked if Macy’s carried a particular type of high quality slacks, he said they didn’t, okay that was the tough one. Next I asked him if Macy’s carried a traditional point collar dress shirt in 100% cotton? This should have been very easy, but he did not know the difference between a point collar and a spread collar, not something that may be common knowledge,, but he was working in menswear. He just told me to go read the lables, having no product knowledge of his merchandise on the floor. You guessed it, I left. When I was much younger, I worked in men’s tailored clothing, and I knew the merchandise I had on the floor and could speak intelligently about it. So could everyone throughout the small chain of stores I worked in. It is the responsibility of the store to train their employees, and it is the employees responsible to continually learn to better assist customers. Whatever you’re paying her isn’t enough. Thanks again Elsa!!3 months agoKEN in Furniture is AMAZING!! If you need a matress or any type of furniture you go see Ken! My husband and I had a such wonderful experience with him for few days. From the moment I called to let him know what we’re looking for to few days later when we narrowed down to final three and finally selected a great mattress in our budget. Ken is just a great human being. Not pushy but very helpful and so knowledgeable in his field. He’s extremely patient (answered all my 500 questions 😊), personable and funny too. He made the whole mattress buying experience so smooth, it was more like hanging out with a friend while looking at mattresses than feeling pressured to buy and being followed by a salesperson like I experienced at other mattress stores. Excellent experience. I bought some skin care gift for my wife. Sales Xi gave me some professional suggestion. She also gave me some small samples to test. My wife is satisfied with my gift. Happy wife, happy life. I will recommend Xi to my friends.
The only reason I go to Macy’s is because they have a Disney section by the baby clothes where you can just about find the up to date toys. There is a whole area full of toys. Usually they do have sales of the toys as well. As far as the toys go, I don’t shop there because they are hella expensive lol.
If you want high end this is NOT the place. I was looking for a REAL Italian leather purse…..there was NOTHING here. Save your self the trouble and just head to Dillard’s. They have a LARGER and BETTER selection. Michael Kors, INC, Coach, Calvin Klien. That’s ALL Macy’s has. 😳😶
Macy’s was very neat and organized. It was not as full of merchandise as I was used to, so it appeared empty. Lakeith was very professional, extremely nice, and very informative. He was the first and last sales associate to assist us and we want to say Thank You for your kindness.
My only complaint is the store was extremely warm to the point I was sweating from my face to down my back. That made us cut our shopping trip short.
I went to the Lencrafters in Macy’s. The service was excellent. Marsha at LensCrafters does an excellent job. She is a true professional. I look forward to working with her in the future.
