5 years agoHands down one of the best selection of clothing and purses! Its located in the magnificent mile in Chicago. This location is one of the best locations for a shopping day due to the fact of its neighboring store, cafes, and restaurants and not to nention architecture attractions and hotels. Public transportation excessivel. An excellent alternative to some of the high priced options in downtown Chicago. Great location on State Street. This store is well stocked – much more variety than suburban stores. Make sure to hit the clearance racks!
This TJ Maxx is right in Downtown next to Primark and Macy’s. You can also find Burlington which is a second brand owned by the same group for more factory priced stuff.
I found Burlington and TJ Maxx on my first visit to be a mess as it was evening and many of the shelves were empty and could see a shortage of staff.
The next morning’s visit was a little better as things were sorted with some new stuff displayed. Didn’t feel we were entering the Christmas period!
Clean and organized. Didn’t buy anything, but they had some cute Christmas decor.

I love this place, love their selection and customer service – especially their wonderful associate Lisa! She’s always helpful, knowledgeable about the store and a pleasure to talk to!
