in the last weekJust placed an order that took maybe half an hour between the online looking and the phone call to find out the same information.! I ordered a Ginger colored sweater with button sleeves. There was no size chart on the page. Instead of guessing, I called. Can you guess? After a good amount of whole time we discovered there’s no size chart for the sweater and they took a guess that I should probably get a medium. And whether I order it to my door or pick it up, I will still pay over $10 in shipping charges – because even though their site showed that the item was available at a store near me turns out that no they have to ship it to that store, so the $20 sweater becomes a $31 sweater. This was something in a color I really wanted or I would have looked elsewhere.3 months agoGreat selection and prices. The beauty section gets horribly neglected, but you can still find good prices. Wish they maintained the fitting rooms more. They are getting very worn, broken lights, dirty, and doors don’t shut.2 months agoI went to the store to make a return. Their return policy says returns need to be made within 30 days. Apparently I missed it by two days and they had no intentions on even giving out a gift card. I guess Amazon is still the best way to go.2 months agoI was told by small boy in a beret that I couldn’t try on my 3 items because the fitting rooms were closed over 20 minutes before closing. I realize that it’s been 10 years since I’ve worked retail but we would have literally been fired for doing that to a customer.6 months agoI tried to return two dresses that were bought online, new with tags, still in plastic wrap, but a month or so past what the girl said that the return period was. She said that the return period had changed, and was now shorter. She told me that she couldn’t take it back or she “would get in trouble”. She wouldn’t even give me a credit to use in store. If she had, I would have spent more than the credit would have been for that day. Instead, she told me to try taking it to another store and maybe they would help. Seriously? I used to order from here regularly, for the last 6+ years, between $150-300 each order. I’d also stop in regularly for candles and cosmetics. This experience was bad enough that I uninstalled the app. It’s not worth being stuck with things that don’t fit.

a year agoFew weeks ago, I was looking for a pair of shoes for camping. I remembered this lady, Pam was helping me, she goes beyond that. Super helpful, well know of the brands and she recommended me some outfits. I spent $300 just in one day because she was friendly and kind for helping me.I would love for coming back and have a great experience , plus saving money and $5 off with the App.
a month agoI am from Jax, FL… Nothing feels worse than walking into this Nordstrom Rack in Madison Wisconsin, my daughter, and I were being watched as if we were going to steal something. This never happens to me in Jacksonville. None of the other people were being watched. Be aware African, Black, or Brown Americans.a month agoI delivered here for the first time it was convenient the customer and I had no issues we communicated with each other to make sure that we were on the same page everything went accordingly and I wasn’t there long.2 years agoThe pricing and selection can not be matched around Madison. The only place to go to shop for clothing if you don’t want to go to Milwaukee or Chicago. Great Brands on sale, shoes available in all possible verities for men and women.a year agoIt was only my second time shopping here, with my daughter, but we definitely won’t be shopping here again. I don’t like to post bad reviews to the public, but in this case I gotta warn people. It’s a horrible mess to try to shop here. Nothing is organized. Like a child’s bedroom almost. The staff are awful. We tried to talk to the staff three times while we were there and got ignored twice out of the three times like we weren’t even there talking face to face. Also, they say they have deals….which frankly they might have deals…. However, you can’t find anything sorted by size because it’s scattered everywhere and nobody cares enough to help you out. The staff could use some coaching there’s no doubt about that. The five things we did buy will probably get returned later anyways because they were kind of old styles anyway, and I just don’t like the idea of supporting this business after the experience we just had. There’s more to it than that, but I’ve already sent in a survey for that. Hopefully they can make it better for others. We probably won’t ever go back.

Gorgeous store. Beautiful displays with stuff you just cant find anywhere else. We were especially interested in Creed colognes. Gina was amazing. She educated us in a way that impressed me tremendously. She is an absolute treasure for that store. We will be back.
One of my favorite stores, very lightly staffed these days. But they always seem to have the best stuff.
The Ebar bakery case literally always has an abundance of gnats flying around all over the baked goods. I mentioned it to the barista today and she was very nonchalant about it, as I stated to her that I wanted a Royale cookie but there’s gnats flying all over them and everything else in the case. I asked if there were any cookies in the back and as she told me no she also said “if I were you honestly I probably wouldn’t get one out of the case either.” I asked her how often the case was cleaned to prevent the infestation and she said that “it’s been that way since I started working here and honestly they probably aren’t going to do anything about it.” Nordstrom this is gross and unacceptable, especially since this isn’t an isolated event- they are always flying around in that bakery case! If you guys are okay with customers seeing this on a daily basis then I’d hate to see what goes on in the food areas behind the scenes. Do better.
Let’s preface by saying all the 414 locals know this Nordstrom isn’t the best. Placed a next-day pickup order and it’s been 6 days. Had to call the Corporate Support line 3 times to find out what’s happening with my order. One Specialist called the store directly for me and told me that my order would be ready by EOD yesterday. Received nothing today. Called the store directly and was transferred 4 times by 4 different phone operators for the correct Dept. Decided to finally pull a Karen and speak to the Manager. Manager had to run downstairs to figure out the status of my order, and just ended up telling me that it’s still not in the store yet. Asked him to please cancel my order as soon as it arrives. Would rather drive all the way to Old Orchard’s location than have to run-around here. I understand this is a business with a slim staff, but it’s more of a circus than a high-end store – not even cirque du soleil at best.
Went to purchase a dress for an upcoming wedding. Asked an associate for a certain brand of dress and they said they didn’t know but would ask a coworker. I waited around for them to return but they never did. I looked around and saw her talking to another employee and they were just looking at their phones not helping any customers. Continued to look around the store for a dress and saw a different employee on their personal phone having a conversation. A customer asked her a question and the employee looked annoyed that her conversation was interrupted. Bad customer service on the 3rd floor.
