4 months agoThe most stocked and varied Walmart in Bergen County. I love that there is a huge lot with ample parking, no matter how busy the store gets. It makes for a less stressful experience.Relatively clean and organized. There is always someone working in the department I am in, stocking shelves or cleaning. The only drawback is that sometimes, especially the grocery aisles, have a shortage of products due to the high number of shoppers. But that can’t be blamed on the workers or store, and I always walk out with 99% of the items I was looking for.

I am very very pleased with this Walmart it had everything that I needed and more the shelf’s were clean there were no shopping carts flying around in the parking lot it was actually very nice not too busy and costumers service was 10/10 If you’re looking for a Walmart close to New York City that this is the Walmart that you need not really in the center but it’s really just one of the best Walmart’s I’ve ever been usually I do not give a Walmart ***** but this one in my opinion really is looking good thanks for reading and if you have any questions about this Walmart in particular then please message the on their website by the way I am not the owner or a worker here I am just a normal customer writing this review.
I had a guy that’s not trained properly in customer service turned me off, he said the workers aren’t allowed to scan 2 items to give customers the prices, even though there weren’t prices on the large items that I wanted, knowing that a new born baby was visible in my hand taking feed. I met a well trained female worker that was outstanding 👏🏾. She was of great help, I told her what happened, then I was informed that it was not true 😉. Anyway I was visiting from up north 😀 and informed her that I’ve never been so disappointed. It would have been 0 star with the 1st encounter, however, 3 stars 🌟 because of the 2nd worker’s encounter.

Review:
I recently visited the 77 Green Acres Road S Walmart in Valley Stream, NY on June 27, 2023. As the only Walmart close to New York City, it is often very busy. On this particular visit, I experienced the following problems:
– The self-checkout machine was not working.
– When I asked an employee for help to find something, they sent me in the wrong direction.
– Many shelves were empty.
– Aisles were blocked with pallets.
– I did not find everything that I was looking for.
– I waited over 40 minutes to checkout.
– The security also closed one the entrance/exit.
Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience at this Walmart. I hope that the store management will take my feedback into consideration and make improvements to the store.
Specific recommendations:
– Please fix the self-checkout machine.
– Please train employees to give accurate directions.
– Please restock the shelves.
– Please make sure that the aisles are clear of pallets.
– Please consider opening more checkout lanes to reduce wait times.
– Please keep the entrances open to allow customers to enter and exit the store freely.

Way better than the last time I visited. Back a few years ago, the Isles were so close together, and the isles were super tall. It was clostrophobic. But now, there is more space between the isles, and the place was clean. Two different staff members actually helped me! Parking wasn’t too bad. This was between 10 & 11 in the morning.

No pint container of heavy cream
All frozen pie crust were broken they been in the freezer over 3 months like that
No frozen stuffed crust pizza with chicken
Customer service had only two workers
Then another one came out to help
Other workers walking around the store
I didn’t see the store manager walking around the store to check on customer service.
Some people refused to wait on the long return line instead they went shopping and they’ll check how the long the line is on their way out.
